When you commission me, you agree to my TOS. Not knowing the terms does not make you immune to them.

★ General Commission Information

• I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason. 

• I reserve the right to stop working on a commission for any reason.

• I can post commissioned fursuit work on any of my social media or put it in a portfolio. I will not take credit for designing your character. If there is a special reason you don’t want the fursuit posted, please let me know and we can discuss.

• Commissions will be prioritized over trades.

• I do not guarantee commissions will be completed in the order they were accepted. I will complete all commissions in my waiting list before opening again to receive more. I typically only take one fursuit commission at a time.

• I require a reference sheet to work off of. The reference sheet for the character must be digital, and must have a front and back view of the parts that are being commissioned. For head commissions, a side profile is appreciated. Please be sure to clearly include the details and colours of the mouth. 

• For fullsuits, I will require a DTD to be made and sent to me. The client will pay for shipping.

• Small changes can be requested throughout the process. Large changes may come at an additional cost.

• It is the clients responsibility to participate in communication and inform me of changes or mistakes during the building process. I may not be able to make changes if the client informs me of a problem late in the building process.

• If you find a substantial issue with the fursuit that is my mistake out of ignorance or failing to inform you of the issue before receiving the finished product, we can discuss a partial refund or repair. I have the final say on what is big enough to be considered a substantial issue.

• You must be 18+ to commission on your own. I will take commissions from minors 16+ with explicit permission from a parent or guardian who is 18+.

• I do not offer a warranty on my fursuits.

• I am not responsible for any damages caused to the wearer of the fursuit while in suit.

• I am not responsible for damages caused to the fursuit by cleaning products, handling of the fursuit, or contact with things that could dirty or stain the suit.

• I am not responsible for lost or damaged goods in shipping.

• I ship internationally.​

★ ​​​​Timing

• Heads will be completed within approximately 4 months, plus shipping time. Partials will be completed within approximately 6 months, plus shipping time. Fullsuits will be completed within approximately 10 months, plus shipping time. Individual tails or paws will be completed within approximately 2 months, plus shipping time. These estimates are not guaranteed. I am not a full time fursuit maker.

• If I do not receive a reply or any sort of communication regarding a commission for 2 months, I reserve the right to cancel the commission without refund.

• If I cancel a commission for the above reason, or if the client backs out, I reserve the right to alter the fursuit and sell it.

★ ​​​​Payment & Shipping

• A non-refundable down payment of 30% is required before I will begin work on the fursuit. It will not be shipped/handed off until you have paid for it in full. 

• The client pays for the actual shipping cost. This is not included in the agreed price of the fursuit, and will be calculated once it is finished and packed. 

• I am not responsible for lost or damaged goods in shipping. I will not offer a refund or replacement if an item is lost or damaged in shipping.

• I ship internationally.

• Canadian clients/buyers can pay via PayPal or E-Transfer, in CAD or USD. Items will be shipped via Canada Post with tracking and signature. Locals can pick up the fursuit.

• American clients/buyers pay via PayPal in USD. Items will be shipped via DYK/USPS with tracking and signature.​

• Clients/buyers in countries other than Canada or America pay via PayPal in USD. Items will likely be shipped through Canada Post, I will pick the best company for the job.

• I will add an Apple air tag in the shipping box for extra protection, should the package be lost. I do not need the tag back. The client can decide to keep and reprogram the tag for their own use, give it to someone else, or mail it back to me. If the client chooses to mail it back to me, they must pay for shipping.

• Payment plans:

  • I am open to discussing payment plans. 

  • Maximum 4 months (head only, partial, or individual parts) / 6 months (fullsuit).

  • The first payment installment must be the 30% down payment, and the rest of the cost will be divided evenly among the remaining months. Each installment will be due on the last day of the month.

  • The initial 30% installment cannot be missed, or the commission may be cancelled.

  • If a payment installment is missed, it will be delayed by one week. If the client fails to pay it, or requires any other installment to be delayed at any other point, I will refund the money except for the initial 30%, and cancel the commission. The client will be blacklisted.

  • The fursuit will not be shipped/handed off until it is paid in full.

★ Quotes

• Quotes are free and available any time, just contact me to ask.

• Quotes last 3 months. Afterwards I reserve the right to change the price of a quote.

• A quote will become null if the character's design changes. I am always open to re-quote based on the new design.

• I require a digital reference sheet with a front and back image of whichever fursuit parts you are looking to get. The quote will be based on exactly what’s on the reference sheet. If you are looking for a fursuit with a simplified design of your character, you will need to provide a reference sheet that is accurate to that simplified version.

• Information I need from you to quote:

  • A digital reference sheet.

  • Which parts. Head, handpaws, partial, fullsuit etc.

  • Any additional features. Eyelids, tongues, squeakers, hand escapes etc.

  • If the character has special materials/features you’re looking for. Gemstones, iridescent fabric, lights etc.

★ ​​​​Character Packages

• I reserve the right to refuse any Character Package commission.

• I reserve the right to increase the price on any item. This is rare, but may occur with especially complex or material intensive items.

• All items must be for the same character as the fursuit that is being commissioned. 

• The item list in a Character Package comes as-is and cannot be heavily modified. 

• All physical items ordered simultaneously with the fursuit will be completed and packaged with the fursuit before shipping/handing off. I will not ship/hand off the fursuit until all of the accompanying physical media is complete.​

• Character Packages are ordered simultaneously with the fursuit and cannot be cancelled without cancelling the entire fursuit commission. 

• The price of the Character Package will be combined with the price of the fursuit, and the total cost will be treated as though it is for the fursuit. This also means that adding a Character Package will increase the non-refundable down payment.

 

★ ​​​​Permissions

With your commission, you can

• Edit the fursuit yourself, or get someone else to edit it

• Get photos of the fursuit printed on clothing, cards, button pins etc. for personal or commercial use

• Do anything you please with the character

With your commission, you cannot​

• Sell the fursuit to profit

• Claim credit for creating the fursuit/not credit me when asked

★ ​​​​Artistic Liberty & Trades

Artistic Liberty Fursuits

• I am open to doing artistic liberty fursuits with whatever level of involvement you would like. Contact me to discuss the details of this option.

• Once you receive the fursuit, the character now belongs to you.

• Feel free to change anything about the character. They are yours to do with as you please.​

Fursuit Trades

• Contact me to ask about doing a fursuit trade.​

 

★ ​​​​Extra Material

Can I have the leftover/extra material from my fursuit?

• Unless the material is spoken for for a future project, I will likely be willing to ship/hand off some extra material. 

• I reserve the right to add an additional cost to hand over extra material.

★ ​​​​Warranty, Repairs & Edits

• I do not offer a warranty on my fursuits.

• I am open to discussing editing fursuits bought from me at a later date. The client will pay for shipping, and an agreed upon price. I do not feel comfortable doing a large refurb.

• I am open to taking in a fursuit you have bought from me for a 'spa day'. This would include repairs from regular wear and tear, any minor edits, and a deep clean. The client will pay for shipping, and an agreed upon price for the repairs.

• If we are at the same convention and your fursuit needs a minor repair, I will be happy to do those repairs for you. I reserve the right to charge for the service, although it's unlikely that I will.

★ ​​​​Refund Policy

I don’t want my commission anymore, what do I do?

• Ask for a refund, and receive one if I agree to it.

• Let me know you don’t want it anymore without a refund, and I will cancel the commission. Please do not ghost me.

• If I have bought the supplies and started work on the fursuit, I will repurpose the materials and pieces I have finished for a different project, likely another fursuit. I will be sure to modify it so the character does not resemble yours. You may have a say on if it is still too similar, but the decision is ultimately mine.

Refunds may be requested for the following reasons:

• I am not happy with the fursuit so far.

• I am not happy with the service and/or attitude of the artist.

• I have been waiting for the commission for 12 months or more.

Depending on how much of the commission has been completed, you are eligible for a certain amount of refund money

• Not started & haven't bought supplies - 70% refund

• Not started & have bought supplies - 60% refund

• Started initial work & sculpting  - 50% refund

• Partway through work -  10-40% refund 

• Completed piece - 0% refund (no refund)
