When you commission me, you agree to my TOS. Not knowing the terms does not make you immune to them.

★ General Commission Information

• I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason. 

• I reserve the right to stop working on a commission for any reason.

• I can post commissioned art on any of my social media or put it in a portfolio. I will credit you for the character. If there is a special reason you don’t want the art posted, please let me know and we can discuss.

• Commissions will likely be prioritized over art trades and requests.

• I do not guarantee commissions will be completed in the order they were commissioned. 

• I require a coloured reference image (does not need to be a reference sheet) to work off of for all art except for custom designs. If I agree to work off of a text description, or unfinished/uncoloured artwork, I reserve the right to charge an additional fee for character designing.

• Art pieces come with three edits/changes to the artwork during the process. After that, I reserve the right to charge additional fees for each edit.

  • Rendered Illustrations are an exception to this rule. They come with six edits/changes, and I will always give the client multiple options for the initial sketch.

• It is the clients responsibility to participate in communication and inform me of changes or mistakes during the process. I may not be able to make changes late in the process. I reserve the right to charge an additional fee for large or late changes. 

• I do not have an age requirement for art commissions.

• I am not responsible for lost or damaged goods in shipping.

• I ship internationally.

 

★ ​​​​Timing

• Most pieces will be done within two weeks, reference sheets and rendered illustrations may take longer. These estimates are not guaranteed.

• If I do not receive a reply regarding a commission for one month, I will cancel the commission without refund.

★ ​​​​Payment & Shipping

• I take payment before starting the piece.

• 50% of the price is non-refundable.

• If a piece is being shipped (badge, traditional art, or a different physical project), the client pays for the actual shipping cost. The shipping cost will be calculated one the art is complete and packages.

• I am not responsible for lost or damaged goods in shipping. I do not offer repairs or replacements for lost or damaged goods in shipping.

• I ship internationally.

• Canadian clients can pay via PayPal or E-Transfer, in CAD or USD. Items will be shipped via Canada Post with tracking and signature. Locals can pick up the artwork.

• American clients pay via PayPal in USD. Items will be shipped via DYK/USPS with tracking and signature.​

• Clients in countries other than Canada or America pay via PayPal in USD. Items will likely be shipped through Canada Post, I will pick the best company for the job.

• I do not take payment plans for my art commissions.

 

★ ​​​​Permissions, Commercial Use & GenAI

• You can:

  • Post your commissioned artwork on social media.

  • Use your commissioned artwork for personal computer/phone backgrounds.

  • Print it out/get it printed on clothing, button pins, stickers etc. for personal use. The signature/watermark does not have to be clear, as this item is only for your personal use.

  • Print it out/get it printed as stickers to hand out for free to others. This only qualifies for stickers. This only qualifies if you are handing them out to promote yourself as an individual or trade/share with others, not a business/brand. My signature and/or watermark must be legible, visible, and not cut off. (This permissions intended purpose is to allow for the common practice of handing out stickers at furry conventions.)

• You cannot:

  • Post a non-watermarked version of the artwork on social media.

  • Remove or hide my signature/watermark.

  • Sell the art in any context to profit.

  • Print it out/get it printed on anything other than a sticker to hand out to others. This includes clothing, button pins, posters/prints, business cards, etc.

  • Claim credit for the artwork/miscredit/not credit me when asked.

• I am open to making art for commercial use, such as business cards, button pins, or packaging for business promotion or self promotion. This would come with an additional fee, and is a conversation I would need to have with the client. Please reach out to me if you are interested in this.

• I do not consent to my art being fed into, transformed, altered, or edited by GenAI. This does not count as creatively transforming my artwork to make it your own, and I do not consent to an AI altered version of my work being created or used for any purpose.

• Fan characters, Pokésona’s, FNaF OC’s, etc.

• Self harm (depends on the context & type)

• Dinosaurs/birds (not my forte)

• Real life people (depending on who and the light they are being portrayed in)

• Characters from shows/movies/books

• Characters that don’t belong to you

• NSFW, kinks/fetish content. Please contact me to ask about this

No, I won’t do…

• Mech 

• Some profanity, slurs, vulgar language

• Offensive/discriminatory content, hate art

• Big name copyrighted characters (ex. Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, She-Ra)

 

★ ​​​​Adoptables, Trades, Requests & Bases

Adoptables

• Feel free to change anything about the character. They are yours to do with as you please.

• Do not sell them at a higher price than you bought them for profit.

• Please wait 30 days before selling an adoptable/custom after buying it from me. This is to curb instances of people purchasing my designs and selling them at a higher price for profit.

• If you no longer want the character, you can sell them at the same or a lower price than what you paid. If they have gained more art and content, they can be sold at a higher price, accordingly. 

Art Trades

• Contact me to ask about doing an art trade.

• I reserve the right to not send my completed piece of art until my trade partner does. I can of course send WIPs.

Requests

• Simply post them in the designated space on DeviantArt. I do not take requests anywhere else on any other social media. Requests posted anywhere else will be ignored.

• You will not be sent progress photos as I work on the piece, as it is free art.

• Higher quality images can be e-mailed upon request.

• Requests are always open, and have no due date for me to finish them.

Bases

• You can use the base for personal character creation, or as a base for adoptables.

• You cannot remove my watermark or signature.

• You cannot resell or redistribute the base yourself. You are welcome to send the link to others to access the base.

• I would love to be tagged to see what you make! This is of course optional.

 

★ ​​​​Refund Policy

I don’t want my commission anymore, what do I do?

• Ask for a refund, and receive one if I agree to it.

• Let me know you don’t want it anymore without a refund, and I will cancel the commission. Please do not ghost me.

Refunds may be requested for the following reasons:

• I am not happy with the piece so far.

• I am not happy with the service and/or attitude of the artist.

• I have been waiting for the commission for 4 months or more.

Depending on how much of the commission has been completed, you are eligible for a certain amount of refund money

• Not started - 50% refund

• In progress - 20% refund

• Completed piece - 0% refund (no refund)
