About Me
Hey there!
Call me Parade
she/they
I am an independent artist and entrepreneur. I love to bring peoples characters to life, with an eye for detail and a love for colour. I specialize in character based digital illustrations and fursuits. I also have experience in plush making, sewing, art dolls, doll customizing, paper dolls, sculpting, logo design, still life work, traditional character illustration, and digital painting.
I started to take my artwork seriously around 2016, learning to illustrate characters in traditional mediums and dabbling in costume making. Since then my skillset has expanded quite a bit, and I plan to keep on learning.
I'm currently in my final year of university, majoring in Character Design and Illustration. I'd like to do a mix of contract work and independent commissions, though I'm not sure what exactly that's going to look like. I can't imagine doing anything other than art for my career, so I will find my way!
I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada, where I still live today. My mom and I bond over trips into the mountains, and I am so grateful for the beautiful nature that is a mere road trip away. I find Canada gets left in the dust in many conversations, being beside America, so I'm happy that I can be an artist and fursuit maker my fellow Canadians can access more easily. That being said, I'm happy to work on projects for people all over the globe! I still haven't travelled all that much in my life, but I plan to. Little me always wanted to go to Japan because "that's where Pokémon are from", so perhaps that will be my ultimate travel goal.
My little corner of the internet is a safe space for all walks of life; cultures, neurodivergent folks, and fellow LGBTQ+ people.
Come as you are!
